The Murchison, Western Australia
These images are of the Cue Hospital constructed of local stone in 1895. It closed in 1942. The original hospital was a canvas and bower shed set up north of the town.
Vera Whittington's book, Gold and Typhoid - Two Fevers - A Social History of Western Australia 1891-1900, UWAP 1988, tells of the need for this hospital.
