Now residents of Mann Street say they live in Cottesloe. In the past they sometimes gave their address as Osborne or Swanbourne.

On 15 September 1902 on page 4 The West Australian reported:

The Braeside Estate. — Messrs. Learmonth and Co. report having offered this estate at public auction, on the ground, on Saturday afternoon last. They add: — "There was a splendid attendance. The property had been subdivided into quarter-acre lots, and, from the outset, buyers showed their appreciation of the lovely situation. Blocks in Grant-street realised from £75 to £81, in Pierrepoint-street [Mann Street], from £44 to £70 10s., and Eric-street from £40 to £54. Every block was sold under the hammer. The estate realised £2,176."

The Mann Street road reserve was transferred to "His Majesty King Edward VII" (the Crown) on 15 January 1903 and subsequently the 40 lots sold at the auction were transferred to their new owners.

Some information about the land ownerhip before subdivision is here.

Some photographs of Mann Street can be found here.
